COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

The project is providing empowerment to the community by training them in different seminars and workshop to help them gain knowledge and experience in all life aspects. There are several Widow groups which are imparted with entrepreneurial skills. They are doing small businesses to raise their own income through soft loans. These groups are also known as self helping groups.

Due to family background and challenges, children who are abused in way or another are affected psychologically. PSS programs provide support to caretakers, teachers, staff to be able to provide right guidance and counseling to children.

Widows formulated small groups of six people in each group. There are 8 groups in that comprise off all members in small groups through entrepreneurial skills imparted to them they started small business thus helping them to raise their own income through soft loans. They meet monthly to discuss the achievement of the groups and to discuss the plans for maximizing the income of the group through conducting small business or credit saving.

Through sports and games children participate in the competition prepared by project (MWAOMI CUP). The competition include football league, netball league, and athletics
Every year the children of Africa celebrate and raise their voice to the world about the African child rights and child policy as to this day the children in Mwanza also participate and join their hands together and raise their voice towards all forms of child abuse.
The sponsored children also formed their own clubs that are TTK (Tukutane Tuzungumze Club) this involves sponsored children who are studying in secondary schools level and WATOTO PAMOJA CLUB involves sponsored children who are mostly young aged children in primary school.
